Homework Policy

It is my goal to teach students how to be responsible and accountable.  I assign homework Monday through Thursday.  Students copy their homework into their agendas each morning.  It is their responsibility to copy the homework accurately.  Homework should be completed independently. Anything I assign for homework has already been covered in class.  Daily homework includes 20 minutes of reading (see the link to the right for a printable copy of the reading log), a math page, & occasionally an assignment for another subject area   Once your child completes his/her homework, please sign their agenda.  This helps to keep parents aware of what is expected of their children and keeps the lines of communication open.  Please feel free to write me a note in your child's agenda at any time if you have any questions or concerns.
