We will be taking three state exams this year. The ELA & Math Assessments each take place over 3 days. The Science exam is 2 days long. Please make sure to get a good night's sleep, eat a healthy breakfast, & arrive on time on all testing days.
ELA (English Language Arts)-Students will read a number of passages
followed by multiple choice questions. They will also demonstrate
their knowledge of grammar & write extended responses (essays)
based on passages they have read.
April 14th, 15th & 16th
Math-This test consists of multiple choice & short answer questions. In
the short answer portion, students are required to show all work
and explain their thinking.
April 22nd, May 23rd & 24th
Science-The Science exam consists of a written test (multiple choice &
short answer) and a performance portion where students will
conduct three experiments & answer questions about their
findings.
